New Proptia Feature for Easier Guest Access
|
Now that Proptia has been successfully introduced, we are proud to announce a new feature that makes guest access to the community even easier. Guests now only need to check in with a security guard once per gate pass period. Once their mobile gate pass has been activated on that first visit, the license plate readers at each gate will recognize the guest’s vehicle and open the gate automatically with no stop at the gatehouse.

Gate Operator Installation at Hampton Lake Drive Gate
|
We will be installing upgraded gate arm operators and a back-up battery system at the Hampton Lake Drive gate the next two Sundays (October 25 and November 1). This upgrade is necessary to maintain smooth operation at the gate. Members and guests will still be able to use the gate during the installation, but there may be some delays and temporary changes to the traffic flow. Once the new operators are installed, we will schedule painting and refinishing of the gates, so they look brand new!

Members are invited to participate in the Tunnels to Towers 5K Walk/Run on Sunday, November 8, at 8:30 a.m. at Rose Hill. In past years, over 150 members have taken part, raising over $10,000. Tunnels to Towers raises money for the families of first responders and military personnel who were severely injured or killed in the line of duty. Click here to join the Hampton Lake team or donate.

Beginning October 17, members are invited to showcase their creativity in our Scarecrow Contest! Display your homemade scarecrow in your front yard from October 17-November 7, and vote for your favorite. Click here for the voting card. Votes can be dropped off at the Tackle Box by November 2 at noon.

Trick or Treating in Hampton Lake
|
Door-to-door trick-or-treating will take place in Hampton Lake on the evening of Halloween, Saturday, October 31. If you would like to participate as a trick-or-treat location, please click here or visit the Tackle Box during operating hours for a sign to display on your front door or mailbox. As always, please remember to be safe and cautious of people on the streets.
